Product Description

Description

Forced Circulation Evaporation Plants are designed to prevent fouling and crystallization during liquor boiling by maintaining a relatively high flow velocity within the heating tubes.

The circulating liquor is heated as it passes through the heat exchanger. It then enters a separator where a reduction in pressure causes partial evaporation, cooling the liquor to its boiling point at the corresponding pressure. During crystallization, crystals can be separated from the circulating slurry either by controlling the flow velocity or by employing a specially designed separator.

Particular Feature
  • Long operating periods — evaporation takes place in the separator, and fouling in the calandria is therefore minimised.
  • Optimised heat exchange surface — flow velocity in the tubes determined by the circulation pump.
Fields of Application
  • Liquid with a high tendency for fouling, highly viscous liquid, as the high-concentration step in multiple-effect evaporation plants.
  • Forced circulation evaporators are optimally suited as crystallising evaporators for saline solutions. In the course of crystallization, the crystal can be separated out through the velocity of the circulating flow or a separator of special design.

Frequently Asked Questions
? What is a Forced Circulation Evaporation Plant and how does it work?
A Forced Circulation Evaporation Plant uses a circulation pump to maintain high flow velocity within the heating tubes, preventing fouling and crystallization. The liquor is heated in a heat exchanger, then enters a separator where reduced pressure causes partial evaporation, cooling the liquor to its boiling point at the corresponding pressure.
? What types of liquids are best suited for forced circulation evaporators?
Forced circulation evaporators are ideal for liquids with a high tendency for fouling, highly viscous liquids, and saline solutions requiring crystallization. They are also well-suited as the high-concentration step in multiple-effect evaporation plants.
? How does the forced circulation design minimise fouling compared to other evaporator types?
Since evaporation takes place in the separator rather than directly inside the heating tubes (calandria), the risk of fouling and scaling on heat exchange surfaces is significantly reduced. The high flow velocity maintained by the circulation pump further prevents deposit buildup.
? Can forced circulation evaporators be customised for specific industries?
Yes. Forced circulation evaporation plants offer fully customizable solutions tailored to specific process requirements, capacity needs, and operating conditions. They serve a wide range of industries including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food & beverage, wastewater treatment, and metallurgy.
? What materials are used in the construction of these evaporation plants?
These evaporation plants are built using high-grade, corrosion-resistant materials such as stainless steel. Each unit undergoes strict quality control and rigorous testing to ensure long service life, reliability, and compliance with international standards.
? What after-sales services are provided for forced circulation evaporation plants?
Comprehensive after-sales support is provided including installation guidance, operator training, routine maintenance, technical assistance, troubleshooting, spare parts supply, and system upgrades — all designed to ensure long-term operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
